Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and guidelines for using the Fotool.ai platform. It is designed to protect our Users, our infrastructure, and the broader community. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
2. Permitted Use
Fotool.ai is designed for legitimate commercial and personal product photography use cases, including:
- Generating AI product photographs for e-commerce listings
- Creating marketing materials featuring product imagery
- Producing catalogue and lookbook content
- Social media content creation for fashion and retail brands
- Internal business presentations and documentation
3. Prohibited Content
You must not use the Service to create, upload, store, or distribute any content that:
3.1 Illegal Content
- Violates any applicable law, regulation, or court order
- Promotes or facilitates illegal activities
- Infringes upon intellectual property rights (trademarks, copyrights, patents)
- Contains or distributes child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
3.2 Harmful Content
- Depicts graphic violence, gore, or cruelty
- Promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
- Contains explicit sexual or pornographic material
- Constitutes harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse of any individual
- Promotes hatred or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
3.3 Deceptive Content
- Deepfakes or synthetic media intended to deceive or mislead
- Non-consensual intimate imagery
- Impersonation of real individuals without their consent
- Content designed to spread misinformation or disinformation
- Fraudulent product representations intended to deceive consumers
4. Prohibited Activities
You must not:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without written permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service
- Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorization
- Circumvent any rate limits, usage quotas, or technical restrictions
- Share account credentials with unauthorized parties
- Create multiple free accounts to circumvent subscription limits
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or access to it without our written consent
- Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited messages, or phishing content
- Mine cryptocurrency or run unrelated computational workloads on our infrastructure
5. AI-Specific Guidelines
When using our AI image generation features:
- Do not attempt to generate images that violate the content restrictions in Section 3
- Do not use prompt injection or adversarial techniques to bypass content safety filters
- Disclose AI involvement where required by applicable law or industry standards
- Do not use Generated Content to create training data for competing AI services without our written consent
6. Resource Usage
You must use the Service within reasonable resource limits:
- Do not exceed the credit allocation of your subscription plan through technical manipulation
- Do not make excessive API requests that could degrade performance for other Users
- Do not upload files exceeding the documented size limits
- Report any bugs or vulnerabilities responsibly rather than exploiting them
7. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- Warning: We may issue a warning for first-time or minor violations
- Content Removal: We may remove or disable access to offending content
- Account Suspension: We may temporarily suspend your account pending investigation
- Account Termination: We may permanently terminate your account for serious or repeated violations
- Legal Action: We may pursue legal remedies where appropriate
We will endeavour to provide notice before taking enforcement action, except in cases involving illegal content, imminent harm, or security threats.
8. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any content or activity that violates this AUP, please report it to support@fotool.ai. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email.
